Jekyll or Hyde.
I’ve heard that description by more than a few national voices when it comes to Arizona State’s chances of winning the Pac-12 tourney later this week in Vegas or making a deep run in March Madness.
FS1 analyst Casey Jacobson on SIRIUS XM – “they don’t have a hierarchy, they don’t understand, who’s our leader. They’re a team in late game situations I’m always really nervous”.
The bad losses to Princeton, Washington State, and a poor half against Cal should be in the rearview mirror, but when it comes to making the next steps in a program, winning the Pac-12 would be a big stepping stone under Bobby Hurley. “They’re the Jekyll and Hyde of the Pac-12 this year” Jacobson added, “I do think Arizona State is a tournament quality team with the potential to win a game or two, they can drop 85 or 90 points on anyone in the country”.
I will be in Las Vegas Thursday night for the start of their postseason. I have no idea how long of a run that might be…
