All aboard the Boom Bus.

Lincoln Christian High School (NE) tight end Jared Bubak is the latest addition to the Sun Devils 2016 class, giving his verbal commitment Monday evening.  The three-star recruit was originally committed to Nebraska and Bo Pelini last September.  He kept his commitment with the Huskers through the coaching transition to Mike Riley, who said he would honor the tight end’s scholarship.

However, Bubak reopened his recruitment last month, and cited the Sun Devils as a reason why.

Then, Monday evening, the top player in the state of Nebraska took to Twitter to announce his decision:

The 6’4″, 240-pound tight end is the ninth player to commit to ASU for 2016 and the second tight end in the class alongside three-star recruit Darel Middleton out of Tennessee.  Bubak’s junior year highlights feature him as a quarterback, but it’s easy to see why the Sun Devils like him: he has a big frame and knows what to do when he gets some open field in front of him.
