Jordan Bachynski, the Pac-12’s most prolific blocker, made life in the paint very difficult for conference opponents. Rejections will become commonplace in Wells Fargo Arena again as four-star center Jethro Tshisumpa committed to the Sun Devils on Tuesday.
At 6’10” and 260 pounds, Tshisumpa gives the Sun Devils someone who can battle inside on both sides of the floor.
Take a look:
Tshisumpa joins small forward Sam Cunliffe as the second top-1oo commitment of the 2016 recruiting class, putting the Sun Devils in the same breath with some of college basketball’s best.
ASU has two 2016 Top-100s in the fold. Quick look, only Michigan State, UCLA, Syracuse, Virginia, Texas A&M and Florida State can say that.

According to the Sun Devil Source’s Chris Karpman, ASU assistant coach Brian Merritt was crucial in Tshisumpa’s commitment, making ASU one of the first big-time programs to offer the center.
Not a bad start for the first-year Sun Devil coach.
