Suns Fire Hornacek

Jeff Hornacek was runner-up for NBA coach of the year two years ago.  Today, he’s unemployed. Yahoo Sports reported early Monday morning that the Phoenix Suns have fired the popular former Suns player as head coach.  A replacement is expected to be announced later Monday. The team lost 91-78 at Dallas on Sunday night, the 14th straight road loss, and 19 of the last 21 for a team that has been torn apart by injury.

In 2013-14 the team won 48 games. Last season they struggled to a 39 win total. Today they are 14-35. Much more on this story…
