After rolling through the first two series, the ‘Yotes dream season came to an abrupt end when Dustin Penner slipped the puck past Mike Smith in overtime giving the Los Angeles Kings a 4-3 win in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals Tuesday night at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.
The Coyotes stared elimination right in its face on Sunday and said “No! We’re not done yet.”

It was a laid back environment at the Toyota Sports Center in Los Angeles on Friday where the Coyotes had an optional skate.
After losing both games one and two in Glendale, the Coyotes needed to steal a win on the road to get back into the series, but were unable to do so as they fell to the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 from a sold out Staples Center with 18,367 fans in attendance on Thursday night.
The Kings made the Coyotes go places and do things they didn’t want to do in Game 2 on Tuesday night, and it cost them dearly.
There have been little the Coyotes have done wrong during this post season run they are currently on.
