Jimbo Fisher has been on the job as head coach at Texas A&M for almost two months following his departure from Florida State. This past Tuesday, the Aggies had reached out to Perry quarterback Brock Purdy to gauge his interest in the A&M program. Purdy had started going through the process of narrowing down his final three schools to Iowa State, Central Florida, and Alabama. The initial response from Purdy towards the Aggies wasn’t one of true interest. Hoooooowwwwweeeeevvvvveeeerrrr, as is often the case in recruiting, Purdy decided to hear what the Aggies had to say twenty-four hours later, which led to Purdy and his mother and father taking an official visit to meet Jimbo Fisher.

With National Letter of Intent Day coming up this Wednesday, Fisher is getting the final weekend visit that Purdy will take before making his decision.
