The University of Texas could do alot worse than reaching out to our state to find their next athletic director. Steve Patterson was canned by the Longhorns on Tuesday. The former Arizona State AD will be just fine. He had a fully guaranteed contract with 5.6-million dollars remaining. I’m thinking he won’t be cold and hungry tonight.RayAndersonSmiling

Both Greg Byrne and Ray Anderson have done terrific jobs in their respective positions with Arizona and Arizona State. Both are big enough to handle a job like Texas…Greg_Byrne_BlockA

 

I sat in section 7 Saturday night for the Arizona State game against Cal Poly. The tickets that were given to me cost over $200.00 a seat. We were at the 50 yard line, sitting 25 rows up, on…metal bleachers… next to me was a sweaty lady and her oversized husband. How people don’t think that that stadium should be torn down is beyond me…
