Devon Henry rides the inside lane, going inside the world of racing. In this episode of ‘The Inside Lane,’ Devon is joined by the youngest late model track champion Hawkeye Downs Speedway in 2009, a multi-time Kart Champion and the inaugural NASCAR Comcast Community Champion of the Year in 2015. Driver of the No. 35 Donate Life Xfinity Series car, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it’s Joey Gase!
In the Desert Diamond 200 at ISM Raceway on Nov. 9, Gase honored former San Tan Foothills High School student, Dylan Barrier, with a picture on the bumper of his car. Barrier passed away earlier this year and donated his organs. Gase discusses how recognizing Barrier came to be and his relationship with Donate Life to grow awareness for organ and tissue donating. They also talk about the NASCAR offseason and rising through the ranks with underfunded teams. All that and more on this episode of The Inside Lane!
