Hey Darnell Dockett, how’s that move to San Francisco treating you right about now?
Dockett spoke his mind when he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals, I’d like to hear him do the same now that four high-profile members of his new team have bailed out and retired since he signed with the 49ers the first week of March.
Friday, 25 year old offensive tackle Anthony Davis announced his retirement from the game.
Patrick Willis, one of the best linebackers in the League retired after just eight seasons.
Linebacker Chris Borland, just 24 years old, shocked most everyone by retiring after just one season in March.
Defensive lineman Justin Smith retired last month from the 49ers too.
Along with the four retiring, Frank Gore, Mike Iupati, and Micahel Crabtree have all moved off the 49ers offense to other cities.
Many Cardinal fans were upset when Dockett bolted from the Cardinals. I felt like it was time for both parties here in Arizona to move on…
