It was a good weekend for Arizona State football. The Sun Devils were able to land one of the top JUCO linebackers in the nation, getting a commitment from Antonio Longino, a 6″3 228-pound linebacker from Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College. Longino has three years of eligibility left. He was considering Kansas State, Arkansas, Auburn and Texas A&M among others.
Longino will not be joining Arizona State until summer. It is hoped that he will be the replacement for the graduated Brandon Magee.
ASUDevils.com reported that Longino is the third ranked J.C. linebacker in the nation.
