On a cold, damp, dreary Saturday in Corvallis Oregon, Arizona State needed very little time to dispose of 1 win Oregon State 40-24. The Sun Devils led 14-0 less than at the 9:00 mark of the first quarter and led 30-7 at halftime. Manny Wilkins would throw two touchdown passes and Demario Richard would run for three scores. Oregon State would cut the gap to 40-24, but would fumble deep in Arizona State territory in the final moments, securing the win for ASU.
With the victory, Arizona State becomes bowl eligible and will host Arizona next Saturday to finish up the regular season.
