Changing uniforms has been the to-do thing in college athletics whether it is for football, basketball or whatever sport where there could be any sort of fashion statement involved.
While many programs have been channeling what is current new and somethings nothing like what teams have looked like in the past, the Arizona Wildcats decided to do something a little different.
Wednesday, the men’s basketball team unveiled new uniforms via Twitter.

They decided to get back to what they looked like during the rise of the Arizona program which got them to where they are today. It is the style that saw them reach two national championships through the end of the Lute Olson era.
@APlayersProgram this my favorite. These uni’s make me want to get in shape and relive the mid 90s

It is an old school look but a new age feel. According to Arizona Athletics, the jerseys are the Nike Elite Fit 2.0 uniforms which include lightweight technology and enhanced fit to maximize performance. The jerseys, which will expand the team’s existing cactus-based aerographic over the entire back, are durable and breathable for sweat management while also maximizing range of motion with articulated armholes.
There will be five different options to the uniform as opposed to the three they have had in the past.
