This weeks Valle Luna “Making a Difference” is Joe Jackson. Joes life was forever changed when he broke his neck in 2005 while trying to make a tackle during an intrasquad scrimmage at Hamilton high school.
Joe has gone on to play wheelchair rugby at one of the highest level in the country. He plays locally on a team at Ability360 in Phoenix. He also opened the Joe Jackson Foundation.
The organization was created to primarily help inspire individuals disabled by spinal cord injuries. His mission is to educate, enable encourage and empower individuals living with paralysis.
