Tuesday new Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks met with the media for the first time at the team’s Tempe facilities. The 48-year-old has a wealth of experience coaching the back half of a defense, most recently as defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers.
“When you look at coming into a new situation,” Wilks said. “You always talk about trying to establish a culture. We want to establish a culture of winning and I want it to transcend, not only with the players and coaches, but with everybody in this organization.”
Wilks replaces Bruce Arians who retired earlier this month.
