Connor Brewer is on the move again.
If cats have supposedly have nine lives, the former Chaparral High star quarterback is going on his fourth as a college quarterback after he announced Tuesday he will be attending the University of Virginia this fall.

Following a one-year stay at the University of Texas Brewer transferred to the University of Arizona where he saw action in last year’s season opener against UNLV. With the emergence of redshirt freshman Anu Solomon he decided to leave Tucson and head north to Flagstaff to play for Jerome Souers at NAU.
He apparently had a change of heart since committing to the Lumberjacks and attending their spring game back in April.
“I wasn’t really thinking big schools much,” he told Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat in a phone interview after committing to NAU. “I’ve already been there, done that. NAU was just a perfect fit. It’s close to home with great coaches, great atmosphere. It’s everything I wanted.”
It appeared that way until Brewer visited UVA last week for three days his father Robert Brewer told Sports360AZ.com Tuesday afternoon. The 6-2, 215-pounder wasn’t enrolled yet at NAU and said the ‘Jacks were “disappointed” upon hearing the news he was headed back east.
Brewer, who graduated from UA, can play immediately and has two years of eligibility with the Cavaliers. He will enroll Monday and compete with Matt Johns who head coach Mike London named the starter coming out of spring practices.
