I don’t care what Michael Floyd does in New England, the Cardinals made the correct call in releasing him. I don’t care what is said from a locker room that has lost more than it’s won in 2016. When I heard and read that Cardinal players were “shocked” over the team releasing Floyd, I was “shocked” that they were “shocked”. Would I be “shocked” if the Cardinals layed an egg in their final home game of the season on Sunday against the Saints? No. Floyd falls asleep at the wheel of his stopped vehicle and sits through two green light changes early Monday morning. I am supposed to be “shocked” that in his CONTRACT YEAR, Floyd didn’t know how to call a Uber or Lyft. I am supposed to believe that he has been a CONSISTENT(?) crucial part to the team’s success since he came to Arizona?
Floyd is just another reason why this team will go down as one of the biggest disappointments in Cardinal history. Team “All or Nothing” must undergo a severe makeover in the coming offseason. Floyd wasn’t going to be brought back, so the fact that players were “shocked” over him being kicked out of Arizona, might be the most shocking thing I’ve heard. He’s not in Arizona anymore. What he does in New England means nothing to me…
