Williams Field wide receiver Myles Taylor is one of the top pass-catchers returning in the state. After coming off a season when the Black Hawks won a 5A state title and Taylor had 1,342 yards and 16 receiving touchdowns, he’s focused on helping his team on both sides of the ball in 2020.
In addition to being a top target in Steve Campbell’s offense, he said he’s also seeing some time on defense. This offseason, he’s gained about 20 pounds to help bulk up and is seeing plenty of interest from the next level.
Currently, Taylor holds offers from South Dakota St., North Dakota, Air Force, Southern Utah, Abilene Christian, Navy, Idaho and Army.
But which program is currently recruiting him hardest?
Air Force.
The wide receiver has plenty of ties up there. Former Williams Field stars Tre Bugg and Mason Bugg – Taylor’s quarterback in 2019 – are few Black Hawks at the academy currently, and that adds to the program’s intrigue. The coaching staff has also talked to him about what role he could fill within the offense.
He caught up with the Recruiting Roundup to talk about his busy offseason and recruitment.
